Our expertise includes private label cosmetics, cosmetics formula development and white label cosmetics from ready-to-market formulas. In most cases we work with influencers, creators, entrepreneurs, celebrities and direct-to-consumer brands.

Do Cleansery® has own manufacturing factory?

No, we don't. Why?
Because we are not about just cosmetic manufacturing. We are about making you dream come true. This can be only done by offering independent advisory and working with tested and vetted Partners like Cosmetics Manufacturers, Laboratories, Technologists.

Is Cleansery® certified?

We offer only cosmetics certified to current European Cosmetics law specified in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the European Council concerning cosmetic products, meaning all cosmetics products we offer are manufactured within the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) according to ISO22716.

Moreover, cosmetics are not allowed to be tested on animals.

What does the price include and exclude?

Prices calculated in Cleansery Cosmetics Cost Calculator are estimations including: ingredients, manufacturing cost, filling cost and packing cost. In the process of calculation you will also add packaging cost and possibly sticker/direct printing cost. Another option is the individual printed box.

On the other hand prices do not include transport cost as this depends on your location and order size. Prices also doesn't include cost of formula development, lab testing and compliance documentation which are quoted separately and you can learn more about this here.

Prices also doesn't include branding and graphic design services as Clients like to do this on their part.

How does the process looks like?

The typical process of manufacturing private label cosmetics is usually divided into 4 phases.

First, we require you to provide detailed information about your product plans. This helps us identify best solutions and proper proper partners to well fit for your specific product, considering factors such as ingredients, pricing, and quantities.

Based on our analysis we share with you full offer and if we proceed we start with cosmetics formula development. During this phase we create product concepts and samples for you to test them.
At the same time we organize packaging and branding.

Once you have chosen a sample and approved it, we can move forward to compliance and laboratory testing phase which is concluded with Cosmetic Product Safety Report.

The fourth and last phase is the manufacturing itself. Once we have received all the necessary raw materials for manufacturing, we can produce your private label cosmetics.
Additionally, we will create make the necessary CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) notification.

How long does the private label cosmetics manufacturing take?

Typically, it takes 5-7 months to create formulas and manufacture an entire private label product. However, if the product is more complex, brand is bigger you should assume 7-10 months. Read more about formula development and private label cosmetics manufacturing.

Alternatively, for faster time to market, we provide ready-made cosmetic formulas under the white label option. The manufacturing time for white label cosmetics ranges from 16-20 weeks. Read more.

What is the minimal order quantity (MOQ) of my cosmetics?

For private label cosmetics manufacturing with Cleansery and our Partners, usually, the Minimal Order Quantity (MOQ) is set to 1000 units per product. But it depends on the details of each product.

On the other hand, optimal prices starts with larger quantities of 3000-10000 units. Contact us to receive quote for desired quantity.

Are your products tested on animals?

No, never. Cosmetics testing on animals is prohibited in the EU. What is interesting, you also cannot brag on your product's packaging that you are not testing it on animals according to EU law.

Absolutely! We are more than willing to accommodate your packaging preferences. Please note most extraordinary packaging are on the higher end of minimal order quantities, starting from 5.000-10.000 units.

Can I use my own packaging?

Yes! We can work with your packaging if it’s compatible. Just ask as and provide details to check this.

Do you offer sustainable packaging?

Oh yes! We can proudly say we extend our sustainable packaging portfolio and we can offer many interesting options from recycled PET, recyclable packaging, PCR, mono-material packaging, biodegradable components etc.

Branding and Graphic Design

What design options are you proposing?

If you prefer to use our design service, we are able to prepare a holistic approach to brand visual identity, brand personality, and designing of packaging. We are very flexible therefore we can combine your possibilities with our services.

Can I provide my own artworks?

Of course! We can use your own artwork on the product.

I have thea idea for design, can you execute on it?

Cosmetics Regulations & Compliance

Do you offer help with registration of my cosmetics?

Of course! We do it every time we create formulas for our Clients, because to sell cosmetics according to law, we need to have product tested and created Cosmetics Product Safety Report that confirms compliance with all regulations. Cost of full package of obligatory tests and docs is 900 euros per firmula.

What can I declare on cosmetic's packaging?

That is a complex topic, every time we consider it individually based on formula. There are several options to confirm specific marketing claims and declarations that may require additional non-mandatory application tests. Those tests cost from 750 euro.

Do you offer label check and CPNP notification?

Yes! CPNP account creation on your behalf costs 90 euros, notification of one product costs 90 euros and label check costs 75 euro per label.
